So the side-by-side comparison was an idea I was thinkin' about doin as well, but I wanted to start this thread to see if anyone had noticed any blatantly obvious edits, the ones that made you think, did that REALLY happen in the original version?? I'll start off by posting three:

1.) The episode "The Old Mill Stream", in the beginning, where Lillibit and Blue are running through the woods, the narrator states that Lillibit is running an errand for her mother. Wut? Script boo boo, cause Lillibit's mother is supposedly dead!

2.) "Lets Go to Sea Pt.2" Willibit's father stops and checks the map, and the animation shows him pointing to the same spot three times, each while making a comment about how they've progressed in their journey. Blatantly obvious because the same animation is recycled three times to make up for the lost minutes of footage where the kids are running naked.

3.) "Lets Go to Sea Pt.2" Where the children are naked. Nuff said xD

Probably well-known, but in the baby raccoon episode, Browniebit gets smacked in the face with a hockey stick. THAT brief clip got cut out.

They also cut a lot out of the Red Rainbow episode because Willibit grabbed a fish's tail and it pulled him through the water naked for a while. That scene's a lot shorter in English, but I haven't watched it enough to know how they filled in that missing time.

It always struck me as funny that in the very first episode Lillibit says she can't jump in the creek with Blue because she doesn't have her swimsuit. Cute, because she never has her suit at any other time either and that sure doesn't stop her from hitting the water then! Haha.

And in another of the earlier episodes, isn't she ringing the vine bell of Snuffly's tree while calling for Willibit? Shouldn't she be yelling at Snuffly for not being out of bed yet?

yes!! Thank you for mentioning that one! I had forgotten about it XD She was calling for Willi while ringing Snuffly's nut bells

Yeah, I actually watched the English version of that episode for the first time today. Somebody made some errors in this production. Razz

First she's running an errand for her mother then she's ringing Snuffly's bell and calling for Willibit. Hmmmm...

I'll tell you what else is weird though. In the Spanish version of the episode, Snuffly TALKS when he first shows up! That weirded me out so much. He doesn't talk in any other episode, I'm pretty sure... I guess for whatever reason, this tends to be an odd scene in multiple languages.

-English-speaking countries probably have the most obnoxious theme song of them all. The other languages are generally peaceful, whimsical, and poetic, but in English it's just like "OMG, LITTL' BITS!"
